My students will be able to utilize the Reading Comprehension Games Library and the Reading/ Writing Folder Games daily in small group rotations. The games allow them some flexibility in instruction and to apply what they know. I find that differentiating instruction with the use of games allows students to take in information at their level, and in a relaxed, but engaging way. My students will use the Close Reading Journals during the Writing/ Language Arts block. This journal will serve as a tool to enhance their text dependent writing skills. The Close Reading Journal will also be used as a data notebook to monitor my students' progress and to celebrate their success!
