Quality instruction in US Government is more important now than ever. Interactive Notebooks using the Staples 100 page spirals are wonderful tools for learning. They allow students to create a portfolio of their work, work to their own learning style, measure their own growth, and synthesize their learning. Students will use them every day to organize and interact with their work. Many of my students do not have stable homes where they can keep materials and do homework. A Notebook with all their work in it to keep in the classroom is not just convenient; for many, it is necessary.
