My third graders love visiting my classroom library. They always look forward to silent reading time during the last 20 minutes of the school day, when they are able to find a comfy reading spot around the classroom. They are eager to read, but sometimes have a hard time finding a book that they can read and understand. I want to instill a love for reading in all of my students, whether they are reading at, above, or below grade level. Since many of my students are reading below grade level, I need to build my classroom library so that it is filled with books all students can read and enjoy.
