Hi all - Groucho Marx once stated that, "outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read." It's a motto that I like to keep close at hand when I teach, as it combines two of my favorite entities: humor and literature. At Monticello High School, we have many students who are regularly outside of a dog. While this is an important first step, we are severely lacking in our ability to provide engaging, grade-level appropriate texts for our students. Hopefully you can help.
