I am currently teaching special education in an urban classroom. The majority of my students qualify for free and reduced lunch, are English language learners, and have unique learning needs. This group of 26 young learners I work with come to school eager to learn, work hard every day, and have fun together despite challenges they face both inside and outside of school. I strive to create an environment where differentiation and personalization to each student's learning needs and deep, caring relationships are formed in order for all students to feel comfortable and excited to learn. Every day I feel so blessed to work with this wonderful group of young learners! They are our future and that is amazing!
