Through athletic participation my students experience cooperative learning. Having access to more practice balls will create opportunities for them to play more. They learn to work with each other; they learn to bond with people outside their traditional circle of friends; and they learn to find success in a variety of ways, beyond winning. When a player cannot participate because of a busted ball, they miss out on these experiences. They become hindered. These practice balls will avoid situations where a player is left without a ball to participate and will allow them to focus on their team. To simply enjoy the experience of growing through sport's teamwork.

About my class
