My kindergartners are coming in excited for the school year. Many of them do not speak English...yet. My hope is to use these tablets in the classroom to provide literacy centers to help the students develop their language skills. With these fire tablets we can help them achieve their language goals along with their academic goals, by having them access websites and resources that would not have been readily available otherwise. Giving them this opportunity, which many do not have access to at home, to explore technology integration in the classroom will help level the playing field and ensure success for everyone.
