Hi! I'm April Benjamin and I've been an educator with Jackson Public Schools in Jackson, Mississippi for nine years. My passion is enhancing students reading and writing abilities. I was recently visited by a former student from my very first class, who is now a high school senior, and shared memories of being in my classroom. At that moment, I knew the true impact of teaching-equipping students will lifelong lessons! I can't imagine doing anything else and as long as I am able I will continue to assist student growth and achievement in order to contribute to a successful future for us all.
