My students are smart, beautiful, and unique individuals. We want to set our scholars up for success and strive to be with them every step of the way. We are very diverse, scholars of all colors are in my classroom and from very different walks of life. But when we are together- all our differences blend together to make us a team. EAGLE is a free, public, charter school. We are open to all students in Saint Louis City if there is space available. We are college prep with an emphasis on a loving environment. EAGLE stands for 'Expecting Academic Greatness with a Loving Emphasis'. As teachers, we unconditionally love all our scholars and do not pass them along or ignore an issue. We love our scholars too much to let them fall/stay behind! One of our favorite parts of the day is when we give 'shout-outs'. For example, Student: I have a shout of for Billy because he helped me when I fell in PE. Teacher: Good job, Billy! Everybody: Good job, Billy! We do this daily for about 10 minutes.
