My students come from mostly low-income areas. Many come from single parent homes or from homes where 1 or more parent does not work. We are a Title 1 school with approximately 95% living in a low economic status. Even though most are low income and may have difficult home lives, they are eager to come to school and learn. I love seeing their smiling faces every morning.
