My classroom is in a high poverty Title I school. Many of my students face the troubles of poverty every day. It is a battle every day to ensure that they are happy, healthy and ready to learn. My students are hard workers. Many of them do not have the best of home situations and often come to school unprepared, and without the needed school supplies. They try their best to take care of our classroom materials and they enjoy learning new things and using a wide variety of resources.
