My special students have only lived on this earth for 4 to 5 years. But their cognitive level is about the age of a toddler. They have so many health issues. Most of my students were born premature. I am the only medical fragile pre kindergarten teacher in this county. The school is in a poverty stricken area. Most of students comes from this area and the parents are struggling just to meet the basic needs of their child.
