We're still at the beginning stages of training with her but, progress has been made thanks to your donations. \r\n\r\nMy bean sprout is getting better at feeding herself with a fork and spoon as well as holding on to items thanks to the straps that we received.\r\n\r\n All of my students enjoy the lessons on KinderMusik that uses the keyboard; there are lots of smiles now that we have the one missing instrument that brings the lesson together. I chose materials to specifically target multi-sensory learning opportunities, fine motor development, and kindergarten academic standards. \r\n\r\nAll of my students are kindergarteners on the Autism Spectrum, and these materials have helped immensely with engagement, fine motor development, and support for their learning goals. I have specifically seen improvement during our learning centers time. The plethora of new materials has allowed me to cycle through activities every couple of weeks so students stay engaged and excited for each center. \r\n\r\nWe have gone from students being unable to sit and attend to a task for more than a minute or two, to a classroom where we can focus on our learning because students are engaged and attentive and will complete their center activity for up to 10 minutes! This helps us immensely when working on individualized goals, and direct instruction with students as we are able to accomplish a learning activity one on one with a student while other students are actively engaged in their centers time work.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity.
