My students love making things and they love to be a part of service learning. Students will be asked to design, create and market their ideas. They will put in hours of service to their community at events where these items can be sold. From there, students will donate their profits to a local charity or a charity that is chosen as a part of WE schools. These tools can help turn their visions into a reality. The students will be engaged in learning while having the opportunity to help others along the way. They will be thinking creatively and solving problems while allowing their talents and abilities to be viewed by all. Not to mention, compassion, empathy and LOVE start to become embedded into their hearts. We would appreciate your help with this. Thank you.
