Last fall we had over a hundred students show up to work on outdoor projects on campus. During that time, students teamed up to remove the sod from our garden plot. With a local donation of compost, we are ready to start growing vegetables. Our community struggles with food security, and by teaching students to grow their own vegetables they can improve their own health and the health of our whole community by donating vegetables to our local food shelf.

About my class
