Covid-19 has changed the way we teach and learn. Because of this, It's best for each student to have their own materials at school and, in my case, it's best for each student to have their own instrument. I currently have 10 ukuleles for students to use, but more children are returning to in person learning. For my upcoming 4th grade class, I will need more ukuleles to hand out. Students enjoy playing chords and learning popular songs! They strum along to the songs as a class and support one another by checking each others fingers to make sure they're in the right place. They also enjoy choosing their own chord progressions and strum patterns while making music with a partner. There is nothing like making music with friends!
