The students and staff in our school are determined to close the academic, attendance, and behavioral gaps. We have adopted several programs and we are implementing new instructional strategies to help bridge those Gaps. We have adopted a token-based economy to encourage growth in academics, behavior, and attendance. Our programs include i-Ready Reading and Math, CAT time for in depth review of skills needed to foster growth academically and MTTS positive behavior awards. Students will earn "CATS CASH" for personalized academic growth, good attendance, and positive behavior. They will learn to save and budget to buy special supplies and gadgets. Almost all of the special prizes will be able to be used in the classroom and home. Many of our students do not even have their own earbuds to use. From basic school supplies to neat gadgets that can be used to explore in the science classroom. These materials will help motivate the students to keep doing their best.
