IPads are used as a teaching tool throughout our school. Students access curriculum for learning and practice, read literature, play games designed to strengthen basic skills, and complete inquiries for research on various topics. They are a valuable tool that opens many doors. While the school provides earbuds for each student, these earbuds are very low quality. They break easily, have poor sound quality, and are easily tangled, causing frustration and loss of valuable learning time for both the students and the teacher. Good quality headphones will enable all students to better engage with and access the multitude of learning opportunities on our iPads. These over the ear headphones would also allow the students to better focus on their electronic tasks, enabling them to block out some of the distractions around them so they can do their best learning.
