My children need to have outside activities to give them more physical education. I teach 30 pre-school children in two classes per day. We need to have a physical education program that allows children to move and to enjoy the outside. Since we are in Sowi Cal, we are usually outdoors part of each class time. We do not have many things to use but a basketball hoop will be a big surprise for the children. The children all talk about basketball and even wear shirts from their favorite teams. This basketball hoop has a back board which makes it easier to put the ball in the hoop. Taking turns with a ball is a good skill. You get your chance, and then someone else gets a turn and you learn to wait your turn. My school is in a high need community and all of my students qualify for title one services. The children are eager to learn and pre-school is all about learning to share and work with others.
