There are 29 enthusiastic students in my classroom who are eager to learn. Nine of these students have special needs that require individual attention. Eight of these students receive English as a Second Language Services. There is a range of abilities in our room. Some students are stronger mathematicians and others excel in reading and writing. I always encourage students to compliment and help one another. We have a warm classroom environment where all students feel that they have something to offer. Our classroom was recently chosen to be in a documentary highlighting how teachers and administrators collaborate to achieve successful student outcomes. This gave the students a strong sense of pride for the classroom community that we have built this year.
