The curiosity my students who for the world around them is astounding. They are very eager and anxious learner when it comes to figuring out how things work and how to build them. However, many of my students do not function well in the "classic" school setting and strategies. When they are asked to sit at their seat and simply read text their minds begin to wonder quickly. However, when learning is presented in a colorful and fun way they become quickly engaged and eager to continue learning.
