My students are kind and eager to do well generally. But they're also busy. They have 7 classes and all sorts of afterschool commitments. They only have one short break a day. They encourage me to go the extra mile - which is why I'm so grateful for the support of everyone through donorschoose.org My kids work harder and participate more fully which is a great credit to them. School always is better when teachers learn from their students, and these kids' willingness to move with new teaching styles, technologies, and complex text/concepts, is a great credit to them.
