As a teacher who strives at connecting with her students in the classroom setting, remote learning has been extremely difficult. We have had to completely change how we approach instruction and become tech gurus overnight. One thing we learned right away was that our teacher Chromebooks are unreliable in the remote setting. They freeze during online instruction or just completely start working altogether. It is very difficult to keep students engaged when you are continuously freezing, apps not loading, and getting removed from meetings. I need a reliable device so that my students can hear and see me when I am teaching. For the time being, my district is using a full remote learning model and will transition to hybrid when it is safe. I will need reliable technology for both scenarios to support my student's learning. I appreciate your support and help with this project during this extremely difficult time!
