This project requests two iPad tablets. At such a low income school, exposure to these types of devices are very limited. We will use the device during guided reading and math times where students will engage in selected apps to improve their fluency. There are many educational apps that are tested and successful at developing student skills in these areas. My students love technology, and currently we are limited in their exposure to such. These iPads will increase their classroom time using such devices in a healthy and mind strengthening manner. They will also build my students' excitement towards these types of devices and how they can be incorporated into everyday life for learning opportunities.

About my class
