Our school is located in the middle of Muncie, Indiana, and is part of Muncie Community Schools. We have approximately 420 students from kindergarten through 5th grade. The school is located in a low income area of Muncie and 67% of our students are on free and reduced lunch. We also house the gifted and talented program for our school system, which is called the Extended Learning Program, or ELP, which comprises of approximately 40% of our student body. This makes for some interesting interaction within the school and allows us the opportunity to bridge the socio-economic gap in our community. We have been open for 6 years and our academic scores are the best in the area.
