Without appropriate material it is very difficult for my students to complete basic learning task. The students need unique ways to learn in order to participate in a simple task. The students in my class are stimulated by their senses. During the summer we used, "Shimmer Lights", created by Ashland Creations to engage students in learning. In my classroom we focus on visual activities as a daily part of learning. The goal is that the light box will motivate students to utilize their vision, attend and focus more on the things around them, so that they will be able to understand what they are seeing easier.
