The color printer will allow me the opportunity to print vocabulary cards and labels. The vocabulary cards will be used for the word wall and labels will be placed throughout the classroom in an effort to provide a print rich environment. Students will build their vocabulary and develop an excitement for reading and writing at a very young age. Laminating these items will allow students to use in a variety of centers over and over again. It is very important to create a classroom where students are Printing a word with the corresponding picture in color allows students to make real world connections. Furthermore, building their vocabulary plays an important part in learning to read.
