The students in my classroom come from diverse families and backgrounds. Half of the students in the class are English Language Learners. My students are eager and enthusiastic learners. In June of last year, I decided to loop with them so I have been their teacher for almost two years. I have grown a connection with each and every child and his or her family. Seeing them grow, both physically and educationally, has been a true reward. Some students came into kindergarten not knowing one word of English and today, they are reading and writing on grade level.

About my class
