Technology is an integral part of learning in my classroom each and every day, but the everyday use is creating some serious wear and tear! With help from items such as keyboard covers, mouse pads, and iPad cases, we can extend the life of our classroom technology. New headphones will also be extremely helpful when using technology. Protecting our technology is important to our class so that students can continue to enjoy the benefits each and every day! In addition to using technology, many of my students with special needs benefit from the use of timers to help pace different activities or breaks. Visual timers can help relieve the anxiety of different tasks throughout the day by visually supporting the concept of time.
