My classroom is filled with young children who come to school with an eagerness to learn! We are a family of 21 students in a high poverty area of town with reading abilities ranging from pre primer to third grade. My students are a very unique and diverse population that consists of regular education students, special needs, and ESOL. At times it can be quite challenging to support and offer the appropriate reading materials for various reading levels in my class! Due to economic situations many families are unable to purchase the school supplies at the beginning of the year much less books for their children.
