Children often have a difficult time expressing their emotions verbally, and it often has to do with not understanding why they are feeling and acting in unexpected ways. Art Expression project is designed to help facilitate expressing feelings through art, it is a self exploration and discovery. Helping children express their feelings in a healthy way, is essential for their social emotional development. The class will focus on how using colors, various types of drawing lines, textures, and other materials will help the students learn self expression. Using the projector, my students will watch videos discussing art expression, famous art that demonstrates emotions, and various techniques.
