Students work in groups on a daily basis in my classroom. They enjoy collaborating with and learning from one another while completing challenging and exciting activities in math, science, and social studies. Some activities require more space than a desk top or even a few pushed together, so students often sit in cooperative groups on the floor throughout the classroom. I also invite students to sit on the floor closer to the board for some whole group instructional activities. Having floor cushion seats available for use will make learning in my classroom more comfortable and inviting. These seats will help to create a space where my students can continue to grow and excel in their education!
