These three additional laptops will make a tremendous difference to the lives of the students. Students take turns to use the computers when they visit to the media center to research. Many of the students are new to technology, and it pains me to see them labor through their research. It pains me even more to tell them their time is up and they must release the the computer to allow another student to use it. Three Laptops will ensure every student gets at least 30 minutes of technology time when they come to research independently. In addition, when students work collaboratively, the laptops will ensure that no more than two students use a computer. The laptops are flexible and and can be moved to tables which will also foster more movement and collaboration among students.
