The students in our classroom community are students living in a large inner city area. They all have different home lives and experiences but when we are at school we work as a team. Our students love to do what we call "project time". Each month we study a new topic that the students are interested in. We do research, we build things, we do experiments and centers and sometimes we even take trips. The students love to show what they've learned to others. The experiences we try to provide the students with... they typically would not get outside of the classroom. It is important to us that we create a community of explorers who are always eager to learn more!
