While we move around a lot in our classroom there are times when we need to sit at our desks to work. However, for some students this can be very difficult to sit still or to sit in a traditional chair. We will use the exercise balls and alternative seats to provide seating for those students who need to move or who are uncomfortable in traditional classroom seating. I have seen the success of exercise balls and alternative types of seating in other classrooms in our building and feel that it would be beneficial to several of my students. The exercise balls, chair seats, and ottomans will help my students by providing what they need in order to do their best work. This will help them feel successful as they complete their school tasks.
