My students are a mix of 7th and 8th graders. I have advanced 7th graders in my 8th grade classes as well as some 8th graders who are taking algebra honors and getting high school credit. Though in the suburbs of the city, this particular area feels very rural. The students are very family oriented and love the outdoors. Many of them have horses and other animals, quads, and dirt bikes. The economic diversity of my students is wide. My school reflects the community well. We are a "family" of sorts. The staff works together as a team to willingly help each other with any task. We truly have the students' best interest at heart. And our campus is beautiful; the view alone can take away stresses during a hard day.
