My students use Ipads for math and reading intervention as well as for benchmark assessments. It is really hard for them to hear without headphones. My students are second language learners and not having headphones makes it difficult for them because they can hear all of the Ipads at the same time. Since they are learning English we use a program called Imagine Learning and part of the program requires them to record themselves reading. Having access to headphones so they can hear just what their Ipad is saying would help them gain a better understanding of the English Language. We also use Ipads during math intervention. The lesson are tailored to their needs but without headphones several Ipads going at the same time makes it a huge distraction for them.
