I am teaching Kindergartners and I cannot imagine myself in any another position. My scholars are super eager to learn new things and grasping new concepts easily. They are like sponges ready to soak as much knowledge as they can. We are starting our day with Morning Meeting. Students meet and begin the day with a greeting song, participate in calendar and weather activities and the "Morning Message" is read. Right after Morning Meeting scholars are working on their daily journals where they can express their own ideas or create opinion based on a given topic. We love to share our writing and give our friends cheers for their hard work. We then follow up with center activities. The scholars work in small groups on math, reading, writing and social skills (cooperation, sharing, taking turns). Next we have math while we enjoy using our math manipulatives and learn new strategies to solve math problems. Our days are
