These materials will support my student's learning of critical foundational math skills such as number identification, counting with 1:1 correspondence, matching number to quantities, simple addition and subtraction, and 2D shape identification. These foundational skills are the building blocks of future learning. Each of the students in my classroom learns at different paces and levels. In order to best support each student, I have to offer a variety of materials for my students to learn from. The variety of materials I am requesting, including games, puzzles, cubes, and counters, will provide each student many opportunities for growth with math skills. Having these materials will help my students in so many ways!
