I am special education teacher in rural North Alabama. My students have difficulty with reading and math, among other issues, that plague students from a low socio-economic background. These students struggle to find the joy in learning, often times it is just a task for them to complete to move on to the next. It is important that I provide a classroom environment for them in which the students feel safe, loved, and most of all capable. Your support of my classroom will help me provide much needed supplies for these students to reach their educational goals.

About my class
