These materials will help my students learn and grow in their early development, social emotional and early literacy skills. The kitchen set gives the students opportunities to interact with others and learn to play together, while the library nook gives a dedicated space for independent book exploration and reading development. I am super excited to give my kids these opportunities to grow together as we enter back into the school building again after being at home for the last year in a half; them for the first time ever! Because these students are coming into a school setting for the first time and doing so during a pandemic with mask and other health mandates, along with having developmental and health challenges, I want their classroom to be as inviting and engaging as possible to put them at ease. Also, because my classroom follows the Creative Curriculum, my students can learn THROUGH play! Please help me reach my goal in filling my classroom with tools and items they need for a bright and productive school year!
