My students are in grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. My students are energetic, creative, and talented. Every year, I teach my students about singing, vocal technique, and movement/choreography. I taught 3rd graders the recorder, and most have learned how to play some percussion instruments such as maracas, wood blocks, triangles etc. However, my students do not have a lot of drumming experience. Last year, I participated in many drum workshops at the state and district level and I very much wanted to share my expertize with my students.
