The students I'm working with are highly motivated and interested in just about everything. I'm working with highly curious and intelligent children who are going to be the future problem solvers and builders of the world. It's been a lot of fun. I've been pleasantly surprised by the amount of interest that they've had with the engineering club that I started. At this point, we're trying to find ways that we can turn everyday motion in our school into power. Alternative energy is really the future, and I'm proud that I can have a small part in (possibly) influencing future energy solutions. In addition to the engineering club, we do a lot of Alduino coding and electronics. Last year, we built an arm wrestling machine to demonstrate our programming knowledge, and to show how software and hardware can be integrated. This year, our project is called "Stop Jason." This is a chair anti-tip back device. Imagine the possibilities of eliminating the scourge of concerned teachers.
