Our school is a Title 1 school in eastern North Carolina, where 90% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Each classroom has a diverse group of students with various ethnicities, achievement levels, and lifestyles. The school has a very large minority population where many students are at a disadvantage due to a lack of funding and resources. Despite all of that, my class is composed of the most committed and hard working students. They are always very eager to learn and apply their knowledge to their daily lives.
