My students, range from third to eighth grade. They have been identified as having mild to moderate learning disabilities. Their Individual Education Plans (IEP) vary in goals for reading, math, social skills, and organization as well as skills in staying on task and focused on learning. The IEPs also allow them to have accommodations which include assistive technology, graphic organizers, specialized books in audio media, and many other tools that help them access the rigor of their curriculum. The students are all eager to learn, they just need the right equipment, materials, and motivation.
