My students enjoy and benefit greatly from social skills lunch bunches, but with the prospects of remote learning, and social distancing in person, we need to get creative. I'm getting new games that can be used in-person or through remote learning, with a laminator and laminating sheets to make them easy to disinfect between uses. I'm also getting dice, cards and other items to send home if we are remote, so we can keep playing games and building those skills. My kids, like many, need social skills groups now more than ever, with the lasting effects of months of social isolation. In addition, social skills and chances to practice are always important, and my kids look forward to lunch groups so much. Please help us keep them fun, engaging and safe!
