Our school is an inner city school. We are Title I school with the majority of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. My students struggle with mathematics. Many of my 8th and 9th graders come in with a primary level of math understanding. My students have a hard time connecting with Algebra level of math that we do and one way to bridge that gap is by making the math hands on and interactive.
