The items requested for my Learning to Love Literature-Again are items that require approvals and a lot of money to purchase. Each item were selected based on research and teacher recommendations in helping students getting back on track with reading in a whole class setting, small groups, and independently. The reading selections will cover most, if not all, the Nevada reading literature standards for 5th and 6th grade such as RL 5.1, 5.2, 5.3; RL 6.1, 6.2, 6.3. The whole purpose of this project is to encourage our students to read and learn to love literature all over again.
