The majority of my students are very low-income students or students who have dealt with an awful lot in their young lives. Most of the time, the students want to come to school because they have no where else to go, or no support, or no love, or simply no one else caring for them. My school is an alternative school in which the 3 main schools in the town feed to our school. Students either come for half of the day or a full day. As our town continues to grow, we are hoping that in 5-6 years down the road, we will become the 4th high school. We pride ourselves in offering quality classes that students can feel like the teachers really do care and that we will ensure that they can not only survive in the real world but achieve at their fullest ability.
