Donations for this project are so important for changing the lives of my students. My students are required to create personal fitness plans, the majority of the exercises have to be full body weight exercises due to the lack of equipment. The dumbbells are so important because they can help build strength. My class is different than other classes because physical education improves a person's overall health and well-being, creating life long fitness habits. If a person is not healthy it is hard to focus on anything else. My students have asked for this equipment to help them reach their fitness goals they set in class and to improve their knowledge on the use of exercise equipment. I can teach them safety but until they actually have the equipment and put it into use it is hard to see the benefits.
